About Us
Who We Are
The Healing Rooms CIC is a community based therapeutic organisation offering a range of culturally sensitive healing services to individuals, groups and communities. The Healing Rooms emerged from lived experience and a deep commitment to addressing the impact of inequalities, generational issues in all of its manifestations including grief, trauma, relationship issues as well as a range of conditions and presentations.
Operating both online and in-person, we offer trauma-informed care through individual therapy, group spaces, coaching, cultural events, and community excursions. Our work is shaped by western science including evidence-based therapeutic frameworks, ancestral wisdom and community feedback.

Our Difference
Our Therapists
Our therapists come from a range of backgrounds and orientations and have been trained to high professional standards, working under supervision and are insured and registered with a relevant professional body.
Our Therapist have undertaken or are near the end of a rigorous integrative professional training and attend ongoing continuous professional development. This means that all of our therapists are trained in a range of therapeutic modalities and approaches including to provide therapy in a culturally sensitive way if appropriate enabling them to tailor sessions to your needs. Training and skills are updated with ongoing development (supervision, further training).
